Do you have specific or general insight into how intellectual freedom and open democracy is being challenged?
We are looking for thinkers and experts to produce powerful articles that illuminate the various ways our freedom to think, speak, and enquire is under attack.
Whether through case studies, personal narrative, conceptual reflections, investigative reporting, or visual art forms, your work will help our audience understand the critical issues of our time. We are particularly interested in pieces that integrate forward-focused and action-driven thinking that can be applicable to everyday life.
We welcome both short-form (750 words) and long-form (2,000-3,000 words) pieces that bring clarity and urgency to the fight for open discourse.
Just remember, you do not need to be a professional writer to become an Author at Kritikos. We believe the quality of content is more important than formal qualifications.
For more information, read our Submission Guidelines here.
We accept pitches of a maximum of 300 words—please do not send us full articles. If your pitch fits the scope, our editors will work with you to distil your argument and story.
